About the Role As the Senior Non Financial Risk Delivery Manager, you will assist ANZ meet its obligations under a major regulatory remediation program by coordinating the implementation and governance activities set out by the Program for Australia Retail. You will assist the team to ensure all milestone activities are completed in Australia Retail to meet agreed closure criteria, and collect evidence for independent review and regulatory assurance. Acting as the central coordination point for Australia Retail you will liaise with the Group Project Team, Group Risk & Compliance, Line 2 Risk and Compliance, BU Assurance teams, and the Business. This role ensures alignment, integration, and governance of all the deliverables for Australia Retail. Your day will involve tracking progress against key milestones, chasing actions, managing dependencies, and ensuring closure criteria are met. You’ll gather and validate evidence to support independent review and regulatory assurance. As the central coordination point, you’ll work closely with the Group Project Team, Risk & Compliance, Line 2, Assurance teams, and the Business to keep activities aligned and on track. You’ll support governance forums, prepare updates and reports, and escalate risks or issues where needed. Every day, you’ll help drive clear communication, strong governance, and disciplined execution — contributing to meaningful, sustainable improvements in ANZ’s risk management capability. As a Senior Delivery Manager, you will: Delivery & Coordination Manage and organise the delivery and coordination of packages into the business Lead weekly Scrums with key stakeholders for each Package to monitor and drive implementation of activities Manage risks, issues, dependencies and change to ensure the successful delivery: on time and to quality Manage the engagement model for the Business to consume the packages and own this engagement process Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Be the link between the business and program workstreams, connecting Design Owners, Business Leads, and the Central Program team. Identify roadblocks and escalate when appropriate Manage communication to ensure program outputs and outcomes are clearly communicated and understood Governance & Framework Compliance Be the Minutes Secretary for the Steering Committee assisting the Secretariat Ensure adherence to the organisation’s Project Management Framework, including governance, methods, templates, tools, and quality assurance Leadership & Culture Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and customer/stakeholder satisfaction Continuous Improvement & Engagement with other Divisions Enhance program management capability by contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, sharing knowledge between the BU’s in the Division and between other Divisions. What will you bring? 10 years experience working in large-scale risk and compliance transformation programs, ensuring delivery to scope, time, cost, and quality standards. Highly adaptable and resilient, with the ability to respond effectively to ambiguity, shifting regulatory expectations, and evolving program priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of governance principles, compliance frameworks, and assurance processes, including audits and regulatory reviews. Commitment to driving process improvements, uplifting risk and compliance capability, and fostering knowledge sharing across teams Skilled in building relationships with executives, and business leaders, with the ability to influence decisions and embed a risk-aware culture. Outstanding communication skills (written, verbal and visual) with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences. Ability to adapt communication style to suit diverse stakeholders. Expertise in operational and non-financial risk frameworks, including risk identification, mitigation, and monitoring across multiple risk types. So why join us?
