This role suits someone who thrives on building capability, strengthening leadership, and driving consistent, high‑quality HR delivery across the full employment lifecycle. The Opportunity Stepping into a pivotal leadership position, you’ll guide a capable HR team, refine core people processes, and partner closely with senior leaders to embed contemporary, compliant and practical HR frameworks. You’ll also play a central role in industrial relations, organisational change, and enterprise bargaining preparation. Key Focus Areas • Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing HR team delivering recruitment, onboarding, advisory and operational HR support. • Strengthen people policies, processes and systems to ensure clarity, compliance and consistent application across the organisation. • Provide trusted guidance to leaders on performance, conduct, organisational change and workforce planning. • Oversee industrial and employee relations matters, including award interpretation, agreement negotiations and case management. • Support preparation for enterprise bargaining and contribute to broader people and culture strategy. • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of people metrics, statutory requirements and audit obligations. • Maintain compliance with migration and visa responsibilities. • Manage HR budgets and operate within delegated authority. What You Bring • Tertiary qualifications in HR, IR or a related discipline. • Significant experience in senior HR leadership roles within complex environments. • Strong working knowledge of Australian industrial relations frameworks and the Fair Work Act. • Demonstrated capability in managing investigations, ER matters and representation at conciliations. • Proven ability to coach leaders and influence at all levels. • Highly organised, with strong systems capability. • A collaborative, empathetic approach and the ability to build trusted relationships. • Experience supporting organisational change and continuous improvement. • Curiosity, resilience and a genuine commitment to delivering quality HR service. Desirable • Exposure to organisational development or learning initiatives. • Experience working with multicultural workforces or within manufacturing/agriculture environments.
