With continued growth in our operations, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Retail Manager to lead our store operations and drive commercial performance and business growth. Salary Range: $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation (depending upon experience & skills) Role: Full time Location: Granville NSW 2142 Main responsibilities Plan, organise, and oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the retail outlet. Lead, supervise, and motivate staff through effective rostering, training, and performance management. Develop and manage the store’s product mix, ensuring a balanced and profitable range of liquor products and promotional items, aligned with customer preferences, seasonal demand, and sales trends. Analyse sales data and customer purchasing behaviour to identify trends and optimise pricing, promotions, and product selection. Monitor and control store expenses, budgets, and profit margins to ensure financial targets are achieved and business profitability is maintained. Oversee inventory management including stock ordering, rotation, stock level control, and minimising shrinkage. Ensure store presentation, merchandising, and promotional displays are maintained to maximise visibility and sales performance. Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve escalated customer enquiries and complaints in a professional manner. Monitor store financials including daily sales, transactions, and reporting requirements to support business performance. Ensure compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), workplace health and safety (WHS), and liquor licensing requirements. Qualifications & Skills Minimum Diploma of Business or related discipline. Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail management or senior supervisory role Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and staff coordination Ability to interpret sales data and apply it to operational decision-making Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment Valid RSA certification (required for liquor retail environment) Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
