We're looking for candidates to work across various locations and are available to work full-time, Monday to Friday. We have positions available in various locations throughout Australia where the annual salary being offered is between $88,586.22 to $114,010.50 per year, which is dependent on how many years' experience you have had as an Early Childhood Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified early childhood professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to take on a leadership role within our kindergarten room. You'll work as an active team member in providing high-quality education and care while mentoring and supporting our teaching staff. This is a 5 day per week opportunity where you will be working in the kindergarten room for 4 year olds. The main ECT also has a special arrangement for the accrual of "Teachers Leave", where you work full-time 40 hours per week so you accrue additional hours for the "Teachers Leave". What We're Looking For We need an Early Childhood Teacher who brings: Minimum 2 years of experience teaching in kindergarten rooms - essential Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) - non-negotiable; must be fully completed Strong mentorship capabilities - you'll work closely and collaboratively with another teacher, providing guidance and professional support Passion & enthusiasm - someone who brings joy and excitement to early childhood education Cultural awareness - ready to share your unique skills and perspectives within our diverse community Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) Current First Aid & CPR certificates Current Working with Children Check/Working with Vulnerable People or Blue Card Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A commitment to continuous learning and professional excellence Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging, play-based learning programs aligned with the EYLF Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and the community Lead and mentor teaching staff to achieve excellence in practice Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment Regularly assess and document children's development to inform learning strategies Foster a collaborative team culture that supports growth and innovation Why Edge?
