SCADA Engineer / SCADA Design Specialist – Contract Contract: Initial 3 months (strong likelihood of extension post-design phase) We are currently partnering with a power and utilities organisation seeking an experienced SCADA Engineer to support a critical SCADA design and alarm management initiative. This is a short-term contract with a clear deliverable focus and a strong chance of extension following successful completion of the design phase. Key Responsibilities Design and engineer SCADA solutions using GE eTerra Develop and implement alarm management strategies aligned with industry standards Produce detailed SCADA design documentation for the design phase Collaborate with operational and engineering stakeholders within a power environment Ensure compliance with relevant alarm management and safety standards Mandatory Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with GE eTerra Proven expertise in SCADA Design and SCADA Engineering Solid background in the Power / Utilities industry Demonstrated experience in Alarm Management Working knowledge of ISA-18.2 and IEC 62682 standards Desirable Skills Exposure to Cyber Security within SCADA or OT environments (highly regarded, not essential) Contract Details Initial duration: 3 months Extension: Highly likely following successful completion of the design phase Location: Sydney (onsite/hybrid/remote (Must be based in Australia) depending on project requirements) This role will suit a senior SCADA engineer or specialist contractor who can quickly add value in a design-focused engagement within the power sector.
