Position: Account Manager Location: Perth, CBD Salary: $100,000 Super Commission Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Position Overview: OUI Recruitment is seeking an experienced Account Manager in Perth CBD. This is a relationship-focused, farming role centred on managing and growing a portfolio of SME clients. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to their clients, building genuine long-term partnerships and engaging in meaningful strategic conversations around technology direction, including areas such as security and broader IT roadmaps. You don't need to be deeply technical, but you should be comfortable with the language and confident enough to ask the right questions and guide discussions at a strategic level. Perks: Work From Home Parking available Collaborative, client-focused team environment No cold calling or new business targets Roles and Responsibilities: Manage and nurture a portfolio of existing SME clients Build trusted, long-term relationships with key client stakeholders Conduct regular client check-ins and strategic conversations around technology roadmaps and future planning Identify opportunities to add value and deepen client engagement within existing accounts Facilitate discussions around areas such as cybersecurity, helping clients understand relevance and risk Act as the primary point of contact and advocate for your client portfolio Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure client needs are met effectively Maintain accurate records of client interactions and account activity Role Requirements: Proven background in account management or a sales-orientated client-facing role Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with SME clients Comfortable engaging in strategic technology conversations and roadmaps Experience in a technology or professional services environment highly regarded Familiarity with IT industry terminology and concepts (security, infrastructure, cloud, etc.) Strong communication and active listening skills A consultative, curiosity-driven approach — someone who asks the right questions Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills Valid driver's licence and access to own vehicle Australian working rights required We appreciate your interest in this opportunity.
