Electrical Fitter / Electrician – Train Maintainer (Rail Industry) East Perth | Rotating Roster | Long-Term Opportunity On Track Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking Electrical Fitters / Electricians for an opportunity with a leading client in the rail industry, based in East Perth. This role offers direct entry into the rail industry as a Train Maintainer, working on A and B series railcar fleets in a stable, long-term environment. What’s on offer: East Perth location Rotating weekday-based roster (day and night shifts) Overtime available on weekends $62.44 per hour (day shift) $74.92 per hour (afternoon/night shift) Overtime penalties applicable Electrical Licence Allowance of $37.16 per week Opportunity to transition into a permanent role after 3 months Stable, long-term work About the role: Electrical maintenance, repairs, and modifications on railcar fleets Fault finding and troubleshooting across electrical systems Supporting reliability improvements and upgrades Working closely with engineering and maintenance teams About you: WA A Grade Electrical Licence (essential) Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting experience Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings Experience with mobile equipment or heavy industry highly regarded Reliable, team-oriented, and able to meet deadlines Requirements: Current Driver’s Licence Ability to pass a rail medical, including drug and alcohol screening If you’re an Electrician looking to move into the rail industry and secure consistent, long-term work, we’d love to hear from you.
