ProQuest Recruitment is excited to be leading the search for highly experienced CNC Brake Press Operators for our client based in the Sth east suburbs, they are Australia's leading provider of spray booths and automotive paint shop equipment. As a CNC Brake Press Operators, you will play a vital role within this organisation. Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm ongoing $35.15-$40.00 p/h pending experience Duties not limited to: Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets or plates. Interpret production component drawings and job orders to determine bending sequences and dimensions. Select appropriate tooling and machine settings based on material type, thickness, and bend requirements. Perform machine adjustments and tool changes to achieve precise dimensions and angles. Monitor machine operation, inspect finished parts for quality defects, and make necessary adjustments. Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent accidents and injuries. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, including routine maintenance of equipment. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and quality standards. Assist other manufacturing areas to assist with assembly of components and finished products About you: Experience operating Cybelec controller preferred Experience operating press brake machinery in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, tooling, and materials. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Attention to detail and precision in measuring and machining metal components. Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
