As a Sheet Metal Technician, you will be a core member of the manufacturing team responsible for transforming raw sheet metal into precision components with highest of genuine pride in your work. Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm ongoing $32.31-$35.00 p/h pending experience Duties not limited to: Interpret CAD drawings and manufacturing specifications to mark out, cut, fold, and form sheet-metal components using notcher, press brake, guillotine, and other precision machinery. Assemble manufactured panels, frames, components into sub-assemblies and complete sections ready for powder-coating, installation, and final fit-out. Assembly and fit out of sheet metal components and sheet to air handling units Conduct in-process quality checks, dimensional verification testing to maintain standards Operate and maintain CNC sheet-metal equipment, hand tools, and workshop machinery; perform basic daily maintenance and report issues promptly. Work within the guidelines and guidance of Operations to ensure workflow is completed within the required deadline. Support inventory accuracy by storing completed WIP and components. About you: Strong working knowledge of sheet-metal and ability to read and interpret drawings.
