About the role As an Area Manager , you are the face of our brand in the community. You play a vital role in supporting pet families, veterinary clinics, and internal teams by delivering compassionate, professional pet aftercare services. This is a hands‑on role where empathy, organisation, and reliability come together. You'll be trusted to represent our values, maintain high service standards, and ensure every interaction reflects care, dignity, and respect. What you'll be doing Customer Service & Client Care Collect pets from veterinary clinics in line with daily and weekly schedules Conduct home collections and return ashes to families with compassion and professionalism Support urgent collections in collaboration with the Client Care Team Build strong relationships with Veterinary Owners and Practice Managers Manage and resolve client concerns with empathy and professionalism Communicate clearly with clients and veterinary teams regarding services, timelines, and requirements Handle requests relating to urn selection and engraving, ensuring accurate handover to internal teams Deliver brochures, body bags, and sharps containers to veterinary practices Monitor sharps levels and liaise with management for collection Maintain immaculate standards within veterinary clinic freezer facilities Collaboration & Teamwork Work closely with Client Care, Relationship, Cremation, and Prep Teams Support other Area Managers with loading and unloading when required Attend team and company meetings Assist with operational duties aligned to business needs Administration & Accuracy Ensure all pets are correctly tagged, weighed, and documented Handle client payments (cash, cheque, credit card) Complete all paperwork accurately and on time Systems, Safety & Standards Maintain high standards of cleanliness across warehouse and freezer facilities Ensure vehicles are clean, well‑maintained, and stocked with required equipment Follow all company policies, procedures, and WH&S requirements Report hazards, risks, or maintenance issues promptly Take personal responsibility for presentation, hygiene, and equipment care ✅ About you Naturally compassionate with strong interpersonal skills Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks over sustained periods Reliable, organised, and detail‑focused Able to communicate with sensitivity in emotionally challenging situations A collaborative team player who takes pride in service excellence Open to learning, feedback, and professional development Our values - CARES We live by our CARES values every day: Collaboration - We achieve more together Accountability - We act with integrity and honesty Responsiveness - We put clients and communities first Excellence - We continuously improve Safety - We keep everyone safe, always Key relationships Internal: Client Care Team, Cremation Team, Prep Team, Relationship Managers, Client Field Team External: Veterinary Clinics, Clients, Service Providers ⚠️ Role requirements Ability to lift up to 25kg unassisted Q Fever vaccination (mandatory) ✨ Why join us?
