Working closely with the Senior Data Analyst, you will contribute to shaping how data is managed, governed, and used to support strategic and operational outcomes. Key Responsibilities Support the development of the Data Strategy through research, analysis, documentation, and data mapping Contribute to the development of data governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and processes Document data definitions, metadata, and data lineage to support improved data management Assist in establishing data ownership, stewardship, and governance roles across the organisation Ensure alignment with NSW Government data and digital frameworks and compliance requirements Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and stakeholders to gather and document data requirements Support system and data landscape mapping, identifying gaps, duplication, and improvement opportunities Prepare reports, briefings, and communication materials for stakeholders About You Experience in a Data Analyst or Data Governance role Strong understanding of data governance concepts (metadata, lineage, data quality, stewardship) Excellent analytical and documentation skills Ability to work across business and technical stakeholders Experience working within government or regulated environments (desirable) Exposure to Indigenous Data Sovereignty principles (desirable) Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills How to Apply If the above sounds like you, please hit APPLY for a confidential discussion
