AO3 Procurement Support Officer QLD Government Construction & Infrastructure Division Nerang Full-time, temporary contract Initial contract from 20th April 2026 – 16th October 2026 (with high likelihood of ongoing contract extension) About the role An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Procurement Support Officer to join a busy team within the construction and infrastructure space. This role supports supplier management and procurement administration functions and is ideal for someone who enjoys structured, detail‑focused work in a fast‑paced environment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining supplier data integrity, supporting compliance requirements, and delivering high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities Maintain and enhance procedures for supplier data entry and amendments in line with internal policies, audit, and risk management requirements Develop and maintain supplier databases by verifying and validating supplier information within Ellipse and IRIS Maintain the integrity of QBCC licensing and insurance information, including monitoring expiry dates and reporting on suspended or cancelled licences Run, analyse, and distribute reports as required Review and action updates to instructions, procedures, guidelines, and standard forms while maintaining effective document control Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and telephone enquiries Liaise with local suppliers and internal stakeholders to support timely service delivery About you Strong experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Experience in the construction space (such as procurement, project/contract administration or similar is highly regarded) High attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve issues before they escalate Proven ability to manage data accurately and maintain system integrity Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable working within established procedures and compliance frameworks Work effectively in a KPI‑driven, fast‑paced environment while managing recurring tasks A proactive team player who contributes positively to team culture and performance NB: There is no WFH in this role Apply Apply below to be considered for this opportunity.
