The Role As a Scheduling Officer, you will play a critical role in coordinating and managing the rostering of frontline care staff, including support workers, clinical professionals, and allied health teams. You will ensure services are delivered efficiently, in line with consumer needs, compliance requirements, and workforce availability. This is a dynamic, high-volume role that requires strong organisation, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage complex rostering and scheduling requests Ensure all schedules align with Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant Awards Maintain accurate rostering data, including staff availability and consumer preferences Monitor workforce hours to ensure compliance with industrial obligations Act as a key point of contact for internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders Generate reports and support continuous improvement of scheduling processes Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment You Proven experience in rostering/scheduling within a high-volume environment Strong knowledge of SCHADS Award and aged care or community services (highly regarded) Excellent organisational and time management skills Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement ability High attention to detail and problem-solving capability Proficient in rostering systems (Alayacare preferred) and Microsoft Office Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Benefits Meaningful work supporting community care outcomes Supportive and collaborative team environment Convenient Western suburbs location Ongoing training and development opportunities Stable and growing sector Please apply now!
