We're looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team at a busy plastic packaging manufacturing facility in Western/Southwest Sydney. This is a hands-on role where you'll be working onsite keeping high-speed production lines running safely and efficiently. If you enjoy fault finding, preventive maintenance, and working with real industrial machinery, this could be a great opportunity. What you'll be doing: Electrical maintenance, breakdown response, and preventive maintenance on production equipment Fault finding and repairs on motors, control panels, switchboards, VSDs, and automated systems Electrical isolation, testing, tagging & testing, and commissioning of plant machinery Working on blow moulding, injection moulding, extrusion lines and other plastic packaging equipment Troubleshooting control, instrumentation, and automation systems Helping maintain high plant uptime in a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing environment What we need from you: Current NSW Electrical Licence (or transferable interstate licence) Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician) Current White Card Current CPR / LVR certification Proven experience as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing environment Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics Own reliable transport Australian driver's licence Must be willing to undergo police check, pre-employment medical, and drug & alcohol testing (including random) Highly Desirable: Hands-on experience in plastic packaging or plastic manufacturing (blow moulding, injection moulding, extrusion, etc.) Tag & Test experience Exposure to PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley), instrumentation, sensors, and calibration Experience working in continuous 24/7 operations What's in it for you: Excellent hourly rate Stable, ongoing role with long-term job security Variety and technical challenge every day Working onsite in a modern plastic packaging manufacturing facility If you're a qualified sparky who takes pride in keeping production running smoothly and wants a solid, well-paying role with real purpose, we'd love to hear from you.
