As a Software Engineer at Australian Retirement Trust, you will play a key role in designing, developing and supporting highquality application solutions that help ART remain marketleading. Working within a collaborative technology environment, you will contribute across the full solution lifecycle and support reliable, scalable platforms for our members and internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: Design, develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native and Expo Write clean, efficient, and well documented code using TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks. Analyse requirements and implement software changes in line with agreed standards, frameworks and best practices Build and maintain moderately complex programs, scripts and integrations, ensuring quality and performance outcomes Diagnose, investigate and resolve incidents and system issues, including contributing to root cause analysis Support configuration, testing and deployment activities across multiple environments Actively contribute to planning, estimation, design and feasibility discussions across platforms and technologies Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation for systems, tools, processes and approaches Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, release activities and an oncall roster as required This role is a permanent opportunity. Location: Brisbane. About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) In-depth expertise and experience developing mobile applications using React Native and Expo Experience writing and reviewing code using TypeScript and other modern JS tools and frameworks Strong understanding of native mobile development (Kotlin/Java for Android and Swift/Objective-C for iOS) is an advantage Proven experience implementing and maintaining DevOps workflows for mobile builds and deployments Experience in app store management processes, including submission is an advantage Strong problemsolving and analytical skills, with high attention to detail Experience with modern programming languages, frameworks and tools, ideally within a cloudbased environment Handson experience with version control, and CI/CD pipelines Working knowledge of software delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders Experience within financial services, highly regulated environments or superannuation will be highly regarded.
