Rare Full-time position: Monday – Friday, 7am – 3pm Active, outdoor role with variety where no two days are the same Autonomous position with strong team support and on-site leadership About the Role We are seeking a Campus Grounds & External Cleaner to join our team at a prestigious university in the Southern Suburbs, on a fulltime basis 7am – 3pm Monday – Friday. This is not your typical cleaning role. You will be responsible for maintaining outdoor and high-traffic areas across a large campus, including regular driving of company vehicles (van/golf buggy) to empty outdoor bins, clean windows, wipe down outdoor furniture, and respond to urgent cleaning requests as dispatched. This is a hands-on, autonomous role suited to someone who takes initiative and enjoys working independently outdoors. You must be physically capable, comfortable using cleaning equipment and machinery, and able to interact positively with students and staff. Key Duties & Responsibilities General outdoor cleaning tasks Emptying external bins and maintaining clean waste areas across campus Driving company vehicles (van/ute/buggy) to service various areas of the campus Responding to adhoc and urgent cleaning requests (e.g. spills, reactive cleans) Operating cleaning equipment and machinery (e.g. pressure washers) Using a mobile app to receive, manage and close out cleaning requests Supporting the site team with distribution of cleaning consumables to cleaning rooms Working closely with the Site Supervisor to maintain presentation standards What we require from you Current Working with Children Check – Mandatory Current National Police Clearance – Mandatory Full Australian Driver’s Licence – Mandatory Confident driving company vehicles – vans, utes, golf buggy Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively Physically capable of manual, active work throughout the day Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Proactive, reliable and able to respond to changing priorities Friendly and professional demeanour when interacting with clients, staff and students Basic technology skills (ability to use a mobile app to manage tasks) Previous cleaning or similar experience preferred but not essential How to Apply If you meet our criteria and are available to commence employment immediately please click the "APPLY NOW BUTTON" and attach your resume.
