Reporting to the Offshore Superintendent, the Materials Coordinator will work with user departments and the supply chain function to maintain all materials databases to provide inputs for the project reporting tools to ensure that all required materials, services and spares are ordered and delivered as required. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the purchasing, expediting, handling, storing and preservation of materials and equipment Experienced in the control and management of materials from receipt at warehouse through to distribution to required site location Good working knowledge of material systems, process controls, warehousing and logistics Proficient in the use of standard desk top software, data compilation and manipulation and competent in maintaining and updating project reports accordingly Good knowledge of legislative requirements for onshore and offshore materials management Proven ability to work to demanding project schedules Good interpersonal, coordination and communication skills Exhibit good data analysis and problem-solving skills Working knowledge on computerized support systems (SAP) Ability to work well under pressure and deliver quality results on time Oil and Gas experience advantageous but not essential If you’re an experienced Materials Coordinator, ready for your next project, then we are keen to hear from you today.
