At our Marrickville site , our team is deeply committed to delivering exceptional care to every pet across both our boarding and daycare environments . We are now looking for the pick of the litter to join our team and help deliver a premium experience to our local pet community. This is a dual role across boarding and daycare , offering great variety and hands-on experience working with pets and dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments. The ideal candidate will be available to work Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays , with shifts scheduled between 7am–6pm . Additional days of the week may also be required. Flexibility during school holiday periods (including Christmas and Easter) is also required. Duties and responsibilities: Provision of food and water for pets in care Health checks and general animal husbandry Supervising groups of dogs and managing behaviours to maintain safety and wellbeing Providing enrichment through play and structured activities (daycare and boarding) Frequent cleaning and upkeep of the facility to maintain high hygiene standards Building rapport with pet owners through clear communication and updates Creating and sharing media content (photos/videos) for pet parents Daily administration including responding to enquiries, record keeping, and booking systems Bonus: Assisting with pet transport (van driving) where required – this is highly regarded but not essential Key requirements: Previous experience working with animals is preferred Available to work Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays (essential) Availability during school holiday periods Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude Physically fit and comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all conditions Confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments High attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Able to follow routines, policies and procedures Available to attend a lawful unpaid work trial shift (in line with Fair Work guidelines) Why Kip Happy Stays?
