The role You’ll balance leadership with hands-on clinical care, including: Providing specialist obstetric and gynaecological services across multiple sites Supporting strategic direction, service planning, and resource management Leading and mentoring medical and midwifery teams Contributing to education and training, including undergraduate teaching Participating in an on-call roster (approx. 1 in 5) About the service The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology provides a well-supported and diverse clinical environment: Approximately 1000 births per year Level 4 maternity and neonatal services 8-bed ICU support Established midwifery group practice (MGP) model Accredited RANZCOG training positions Gynaecology services including colposcopy and laparoscopy You’ll join a collaborative team with a strong focus on continuous improvement and education.
