Job Description Position Title: Business Development Manager - Elite Supplements Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time Location: Sydney, NSW Annual salary: $180,000 12% super (plus bonuses) Working Arrangements 1 week in Canberra initially for onboarding and then 3-4 nights in Canberra per month. From April 2027, no travel will be required as the office will be based in Sydney. ABOUT THE ROLE Our client, Elite Supplements, is seeking an experienced and digitally savvy Business Development Manager to drive network growth, strategic partnerships and revenue expansion across a national retail and franchise network. This role will play a key part in identifying new opportunities, strengthening franchise performance and expanding the brand’s presence through strategic alliances and wholesale growth. Elite Supplements is one of Australia’s fastest-growing health and wellness groups, proudly named in the AFR Top 100 Fast Companies for three consecutive years. They operate a national inventory and distribution warehouse, 140 retail and franchise stores, multiple fast-growing eCommerce channels and an APAC entity in Singapore. Their multi-entity group structure spans wholesale, retail, franchise, eCommerce, and homebrand operations. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a critical role in identifying new market opportunities, strengthening network performance, and contributing to the continued expansion of a fast-growing multi-channel business operating across Australia and the APAC region. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Identify and develop new franchise opportunities across key markets Manage the end-to-end franchise recruitment pipeline Support national and international expansion strategies Contribute to site selection and leasing discussions for new stores Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to drive revenue growth Identify and secure new business opportunities across retail, wholesale and partnerships Drive promotional and media-related sales initiatives Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with affiliate networks, retail partners and digital platforms Leverage partnerships to generate leads, increase brand exposure and drive revenue Identify new partnership opportunities aligned with business growth objectives Support franchise partners to improve operational performance and efficiencies Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy Assist with wholesale and retail expansion initiatives Provide training and ongoing support to franchise partners and internal teams Maintain network communication platforms and resources SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Development within a retail environment Strong understanding of franchise models and network growth Proven track record in building sales pipelines and securing partnerships Experience working with large affiliate partners or national brands Strong digital capability, particularly in lead generation and online growth channels Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills ELIGIBILITY Australian working rights required Ability to travel as required Apply now or contact Angel Malkovich on 6260 8888 at SOS Recruitment for a confidential discussion.
