Your new role As Construction General manager, you will take full responsibility for production and on-site delivery across multiple projects. Reporting to senior executive leadership, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to internal teams and contractor networks, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.Your key responsibilities will include: Leading estimating, drafting, contract administration, production and site teams Overseeing construction programs, budgets, cost reporting and profitability Acting as the business builder nominee Managing contractor performance and enforcing HSEQ compliance Driving consistency, efficiency and continuous improvement across all packages Attending sites regularly and leading site meetings Managing risk, resolving disputes and addressing program or cost issues Reporting at executive level on cost, program, WH&S and commercial outcomes What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will bring strong senior leadership experience within high-volume construction environments, ideally with exposure to large contractor organisations.You will also need: An open builders licence with the ability to act as nominee Extensive senior-level construction management experience Strong commercial, contractual, IR and compliance knowledge Proven ability to lead, coach and mentor large multidisciplinary teams High-level reporting and analytical capability, including board-level reporting Strong understanding of WH&S and environmental obligations Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels What you'll get in return In return, youll step into a senior leadership role with genuine influence over construction outcomes and business performance.You will receive: A competitive salary package based on experience Fully maintained company vehicle, fuel card and tolls Mobile phone and laptop Long-term career stability within a growing business Support from an experienced executive leadership team What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click apply now or call 61 7 3815 0769.
