Join Us We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at a leading aerospace and advanced manufacturing facility in Port Melbourne. This role involves working on precision mechanical systems, assemblies, and components to support production and maintenance operations. Day shift: Monday to Friday. Roster: Day shift (casual). What You'll Be Doing: Perform mechanical fitting, assembly, and maintenance tasks on aerospace components and systems. Interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and work instructions to ensure compliance with specifications. Conduct inspections, measurements, and testing to verify quality standards. Operate and maintain workshop tools, equipment, and machinery safely. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve technical issues. Adhere to workplace safety, environmental, and quality management systems. What You'll Bring: Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (or equivalent qualification). Demonstrated experience in mechanical fitting or precision manufacturing industries. Refrigeration experience (desirable) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
