Under the direction and supervision of the registered/enrolled nurse and in accordance with the resident's plan of care some of the tasks you will be undertaking include: Assist the registered /enrolled nurse in routine tasks with residents associated with activities of daily living, including assistance with: personal hygiene needs nutrition needs mobility needs elimination needs Perform a range of duties that require basic skills, knowledge, training and experience. Routine support functions such as making beds, keeping the environment tidy, re-stocking or collecting equipment or supplies. Providing person centred care. As a vital member of the team, the Registered Enrolled Nurse Student will be allocated to an aged care facility and will work under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager of the facility. You will have the opportunity to work with skilled and experienced nurses that you can learn from as you progress into your career.
