We are urgently seeking skilled Factory Labourers to join a market-leading aluminum extrusion business. Duties Include: Safely handling, storing, and moving dies used in the extrusion process. Maintaining and setting dies, including removing them from presses and preparing them for cleaning, inspection, and corrections. Operating electric pallet jacks, cranes, and hoists to load dies from loader tables to cradles for die ovens. Completing QA checks for caustic acid baths and tanks. The Roster: Day shifts 5am – 5pm *Night shifts 5pm – 5am 15% loading applies night shifts worked. Penalty rates apply for shifts over 10 hours. What’s on Offer: 46 hour week with competitive casual hourly rates: $31.19 (day shift) and $35.87 (night shift) , plus overtime opportunities. This role will commence as labour hire, however, may lead to progression and a longer-term opportunity in the future. Comprehensive training in safe work procedures, hazards, and risk controls. Work with a market leader in a supportive and professional environment. Key Skills: Previous labouring experience. Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle. Team player with good work ethic, including reliability and punctual attendance Able to supply two recent work references Willingness to follow instructions and commitment to working safely. Appropriate level of physical fitness to undertake a range of manual handling / labouring tasks in this environment (training in safe work procedures will be provided).
