About The Role The successful applicant will build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, training organisations, and community stakeholders to create authentic, real-world learning opportunities for students. They will coordinate Structured Workplace Learning, support compliance and documentation requirements, monitor student progress in programs, and provide guidance to students and families regarding School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships as a career pathway for students. Working collaboratively with the Guidance Officers, Heads of Department and Deputy Principals, the Industry and Vocational Training Officer will ensure that programs align with curriculum offerings and industry needs. The role also involves tracking data, supporting risk assessments, and ensuring all workplace learning meets relevant child safety and workplace regulations. We are looking for a proactive communicator with strong organisational skills, knowledge of VET frameworks, and a genuine passion for helping young people transition confidently from school to further training or employment.
