This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Managed Fund Services Onboarding team within Perpetual Corporate Trust (PCT) a specialist business within the Perpetual Group. PCT, is a leading fiduciary, custody, digital and markets business. With operations across Australia and Singapore, we support domestic and global managed funds, banking and financial services organisations, government bodies and sovereign wealth funds, and not-for-profits. About the Role Be accountable for delivering exceptional client experiences across new appointments and ensuring a seamless onboarding process through strong communication with clients, the Perpetual Corporate Trust Managed Fund Services (MFS) businesses, Sales team and other internal and external parties. Ensure transactions are managed end-to-end for all MFS product lines, including Responsible Entity, Wholesale Trustee and Custody. Key Responsibilities Lead the successful onboard of new clients from initial fee mandate to negotiation / execution of all documents relating to the establishment of new registered schemes / unregistered trusts. Settle contractual arrangements along with overseeing and coordinating the approval processes, including reporting to relevant subsidiary Boards Effective management of key stakeholders in the onboarding process, notably lawyers, investment managers/key service providers, other relevant internal areas, as required Coordinate and manage the end-to-end process of the review and approval of scheme disclosure documents (e.g. PDSs, Info Memos and TMDs) Lead transaction management personnel in the onboard of deals Update key systems with new appointments and ensure accurate operational setup Provide handover of new appointments to the client management teams Demonstrate excellent knowledge of applicable regulatory developments and changes which may affect the operation of MFS product lines Support business development activities and winning new clients/deals Provide client/market insights and trends to support current and new products within MFS’s chosen markets, where required Drive cross team collaboration and resolve conflicts to successfully win and onboard deals Ensure that Perpetual is protected from a legal and compliance perspective whilst achieving an efficient and supportive experience for the client Assist in projects and continuous improvement initiatives, as required. About you We’re interested in hearing from people who have: Hold tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting, Economics, or Law. Bring 10 years of experience in financial services, including at least 2 years in client onboarding or a comparable transaction-focused role. Demonstrate extensive experience reviewing and negotiating legal and contractual documentation across MFS product lines, particularly for retail and wholesale managed investment schemes. Possess strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing both registered and unregistered managed investment schemes. Excel in stakeholder engagement, with proven ability to manage multiple internal and external parties effectively. Provide leadership and guidance to team members, supporting capability development and fostering a collaborative culture.
