You’ll play a key role in reducing project risks, avoiding delays, and ensuring environmental and land compliance—while working closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders. This role operates under the guidance of experienced professionals and provides hands-on exposure to land, environmental and grant aspects of capital works program. What You’ll Be Doing Coordinate land & environmental assessments for capital works Assist in developing Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) Prepare and track environmental & land approval applications Support business cases and grant submissions to help progress projects toward shovel-ready and grant-ready status Conduct contractor compliance checks to supprot safe, environmentally compliant project delivery Contribute to project reporting and documentation Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve risks and roadblocks Drive continuous improvement in processes and practices About You You’re a proactive and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working across projects, stakeholders, and environmental frameworks. This role suits someone looking to develop their capability in land and environmental project management within a supportive local-government environment.
