This role is ideally suited to a commercially sharp leader from the HVAC contracting industry with a strong track record in sales, growth, and business unit leadership. Key Responsibilities Drive NSW revenue growth across service, retrofit, Controls/BMS, and projects Build and convert a high-quality pipeline across targeted sectors Lead sales strategy, tendering, pricing, and deal execution Own and grow key client relationships across Owner Direct and FM markets Increase recurring revenue through long-term agreements Drive margin performance and commercial discipline Ensure pipeline conversion and forecasting accuracy Align delivery to support repeat business and long-term client value What Success Looks Like (12 – 24 months) Revenue growth toward $50M with strong pipeline conversion Increased recurring revenue and long-term client partnerships Improved margins, forecasting accuracy, and commercial discipline Strong Controls/BMS growth and market positioning High-performing, engaged leadership team About You Senior leadership experience in HVAC, mechanical services, or Controls/BMS Proven track record growing a business unit with full P&L ownership Strong network across Owner Direct, FM, or project markets in NSW Commercially sharp with expertise in tenders, pricing, and contract negotiation Credible leader with the ability to drive performance across sales and delivery High integrity with a visible commitment to safety and quality Our Culture At VAE, our people live and breathe our values of Energy, Synergy, and Success .
