Sydney Asset Management Contract or Temporary We are partnering with a leading financial services firm with a strong presence in Australia, currently undergoing a number of key regulatory and transformation initiatives across its institutional business. As part of this, they are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join on an initial 6-month contract, supporting a high-impact AML reform and financial crime program within a complex, regulated environment. This is a hands-on role with strong stakeholder exposure, sitting across compliance, operations, and technology teams, focused on delivering meaningful improvements across AML processes and client lifecycle workflows. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years BA experience working on AML and KYC programs, coupled with strong Process Mapping, UAT , Data Mapping plus Fenergo system expsosure would be ideal You will play a key role in driving AML-related initiatives, working closely with senior stakeholders to analyse, design, and implement improved processes and controls. Key responsibilities include: Leading process mapping and gap analysis across AML/CTF frameworks Translating regulatory requirements into practical business and operational solutions Supporting the implementation and optimisation of KYC/onboarding systems (e.g. Fenergo) Engaging with stakeholders across compliance, risk, operations, and technology Providing SME-level input , including validation and sign-off on key deliverables Identifying inefficiencies and driving improvements across client onboarding and lifecycle processes Producing clear, structured documentation aligned to regulatory standards To be successful in this role, you will bring: Strong experience as a Business Analyst within AML / Financial Crime / Compliance programs Exposure to institutional financial services environments (custody, corporate trust, banking or similar) Proven experience delivering regulatory change and transformation initiatives Experience with client onboarding / KYC systems (Fenergo highly regarded) Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and operate in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail with a focus on compliance and accuracy Why Apply: Join a globally recognised financial services firm with strong backing and long-term growth in Australia Work on a business-critical AML transformation program High level of ownership and visibility across stakeholders Competitive day rate and flexible contract environment
