Why RDO Equipment? • Work with people who connect, collaborate, and make an impact together • Flexible work options that let you live your life outside of work • Real career pathways and leadership development • We celebrate wins, support each other, and build careers that matter What You’ll Be Doing As a Assistant Accountant, you will: • Support the Accounting Team by delivering accurate and timely financial information across the business. • Process equipment sales invoicing and ensure transactions are recorded correctly and efficiently. • Manage and reconcile accounts, including clearing accounts, sub-ledgers, and balance sheet reconciliations. • Own key month-end activities, including accruals, provisions, cost adjustments, and prepayments schedules. • Process employee expenses and company credit cards, ensuring compliance and accurate record keeping. • Support compliance and reporting requirements, including BAS, FBT returns, audit requests, and month-end/year-end reporting. • Deliver expert service and support to our customers and partners • Contribute to a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement What We’re Looking For • 2 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role, with exposure to transactional and month-end activities. • Completed or working towards an accounting qualification, with a genuine interest in learning and development. • Strong Excel and MS Office skills, with confidence working in financial systems (ERP experience desirable). • High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, and a positive, team-focused approach to work. • Is safety conscious, solutions focused, and ready to grow • A proactive team player who takes ownership and drives results Who is RDO?
