Flexible working model with WFH and autonomy around your schedule Play a key role in process improvement initiatives Pathway to progress a career within a supportive, growing organisation About the Role: Reporting to an experienced Financial Controller, you’ll take ownership of financial accounting, tax compliance and month-end across a multi-entity environment. Month-end is currently complex, driven by multiple systems and legacy processes. Over the next 6–12 months, this will be streamlined into a single ERP environment, giving you the opportunity to help shape future-state processes and systems. You’ll be the reliable pair of hands across the balance sheet, while also acting as the technical accounting and tax point of contact for the business. Key Responsibilities include: Taking ownership of month-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments and consolidations Maintain and own balance sheet integrity and proactively resolve variances Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements Manage BAS, FBT and income tax compliance obligations Support external audit and statutory reporting requirements Work closely with the business to improve processes and reporting accuracy Build and refine templates, workbooks and automated processes About You: A qualified accountant with a strong grounding in financial accounting fundamentals Comfortable with a high volume, complex environment Strong Excel capability is crucial, with the ability to work with detailed spreadsheets Experience in a multi-entity environment, either in commerce or from a well-rounded practice background will be highly regarded Someone who takes ownership, identifies issues early and follows things through Why Join?
