The resort features 83 hotel rooms and apartments, along with a restaurant and bar, the renowned Eurong Bakery, and a general store, all set across expansive island grounds. Responsibilities: Oversee the daytoday operations of the Resort’s Food and Beverage outlets Directly manage McKenzie’s Restaurant and the Eurong Bakery Lead and inspire teams to deliver exceptional customer service and memorable guest experiences Build and maintain a strong, positive team culture across all Food and Beverage operations Maximise profitability while maintaining high service and quality standards Ensure customer needs and service expectations are consistently met or exceeded Ensure all team members are trained to the required standards Support, coach, and develop team members across all areas of the operation What We’re Looking For: Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and engage diverse teams Proven work ethic with the ability to motivate others and achieve results Highly organised, detailfocused and able to perform under pressure Confident in delegating, negotiating and managing daytoday operations Exceptional grooming and professional presentation Experience & Requirements: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Food & Beverage Manager or similar role Current QLD RSA Certificate and sound knowledge of QLD Liquor Licensing Laws (essential) Food Safety Certificate (essential) RMLV Certificate or willingness to obtain Competent in barista, beverage, à la carte and bar service Full Australian work rights About us K'gari is a World Heritage listed island off Australia’s Eastern Queensland coast, is the world’s largest sand island, stretching over 120km.
