We are seeking a hardworking sushi chef and chef de partie (fry cook) to join our team in our brand new conveyor style Sushi Restaurant in Maryborough. The position is full time based and must be available all times tue-thur 9:30am-7:30pm fri-sat 9:30am-9pm. The position is available immediately. Your job role as Sushi Chef will include making All fresh seafood and beef preperation. Sashimi, tataki, Maki, Uramaki, Gunkan, Nigiri, Aburi Nigiri, Rice bowls, miso stocks. Making Sushi rice, and all mise en place. We have a Nigiri/Gunkan ball machine but all maki will be made by hand. Minimum application requirements are food safety certificate, cert 4 in commercial cookery and at least 2yrs experience knife skills and sushi rolling. Accomodation is available, price negotiable including power and internet if looking to relocate to the area for the position.
