09th April, 2026 Engineering Trades Australia are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for a major industrial project located at Port Botany NSW. What's on Offer: Up to $56hr penalties 10 hour shifts, 6-7 days per week Immediate start Long-term project pipeline with a strong safety-first culture Scope of Work: Tank Refurbishment & Maintenance: Mechanical repairs and component change-outs on storage and process tanks Inspection and replacement of internal components (nozzles, baffles, manways, valves) Flange management, gasket replacement, and bolted joint integrity Removal and installation of pipe spools and structural supports Mechanical fit-up of new sections and modifications Repair/replacement of ladders, platforms, handrails, and access systems Mechanical & Rotating Equipment: Shaft alignment and coupling installation Removal and installation of rotating equipment Use of torqueing and tensioning equipment on critical connections Basic rigging and lifting operations to support mechanical installs Requirements: Full Australian working rights Confined Space (mandatory) Working at Heights, Rigging (highly regarded) Proven experience in shutdowns or heavy industrial environments Strong commitment to safety, quality, and team delivery Apply via email - Apply For Job
