Social : Recognition programs and social events to celebrate our team's achievements About The Opportunity As a result of continued growth and success we are seeking an experienced Workshop Team Leader to oversee a team of service repair technicians ensuring daily operational excellence for our Milwaukee repair centre. You will need to be a strong people leader who will design and drive the implementation of continuous improvements in line with best practice. Reporting directly to the Service Operations Manager you will be situated at our Service Hub Repair Hub Centre in Dandenong South and your day to day will include: Provide coaching, leadership and training to a team of nine service repair technicians Monitor and identify trends in service workshops to drive efficiency gains Monitor quality of repairs of direct reports and conduct regular performance reviews Ensure compliance with all relevant acts, ethical standards and Milwaukee policies and procedures Monitor quality of repair notes and act as escalation point for the team Attend Product training to keep up to date with current product information. Follow all Government Guidelines with Occupational Health & Safety requirements. Manage the expansion and growth phase of the service hub . About YOU To be successful in this role you will need to have strong leadership experience and an ability to motivate and coach a small dynamic team ideally within a fast-paced workshop or service repair centre environment. You are technically minded and enjoy working with all types of power tools and have a hands-on, can-do attitude in addition to the following: Proactive with the ability to think ahead, encourage a team based culture and focussed on meeting deadlines. Proven experience in tool repairs, service operations and systems would be very beneficial Strong communication skills – ability to communicate with all levels of the organisation. Able to demonstrate initiative and creative problem solving.
