Production Planner Required We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Production Planner professional to join our client Planning team on a casual basis, based in Dandenong South. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong Excel skills and experience in a manufacturing environment who is looking for an immediate start. About the Role Reporting to the Pre-Production Leader, you will play a key role in supporting production planning activities, ensuring jobs are accurately planned, released, and maintained in line with production schedules. You will also assist with pre-production coordination and change management processes. What's on Offer Casual position with an immediate start available Standard working hours approximately 8:00am - 4:00pm Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment Gain exposure across multiple manufacturing sites Hourly rate $ 53 ph Key Responsibilities Maintain the MRP system for planning and releasing production jobs across multiple facilities Plan, release, and manage production jobs to meet scheduling requirements Assign serial numbers and track job progress through to completion Assist with job closure and reporting processes Support fabrication planning and forecasting activities Coordinate in-house and outsourced production processes Assist with BOM maintenance across multiple sites Support pre-production and change management processes (PCRs) Provide general support to the Planning team as required About You Previous experience in a production planning or manufacturing environment Strong understanding of MRP systems and material flow processes Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (essential) Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills If you're ready to hit the ground running and contribute to a fast-paced production environment, we'd love to hear from you.
