Civil Design Engineer (2–5 Years) | Global Consultancy | Sydney We are currently recruiting on behalf of a global engineering consultancy seeking a Civil Design Engineer (2–5 years’ experience) to join their established and growing Sydney team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a well-regarded international business delivering high-quality projects across infrastructure and built form sectors. The Role As a Civil Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of civil projects, working within a collaborative and high-performing team. You will contribute across the full project lifecycle, from concept design through to detailed documentation and delivery. Key Responsibilities Undertake civil design for a range of projects including roads, drainage, earthworks, and utilities Prepare design drawings, reports, and technical documentation Assist in the development of stormwater management solutions (including OSD and drainage design) Coordinate with internal disciplines and external stakeholders Support project delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met Assist with site inspections and design verification where required About You Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) 2–5 years’ experience in civil design within a consultancy environment Technical Skills/Software Experience with Civil 3D and/or 12d Exposure to DRAINS, MUSIC, or similar stormwater modelling software Strong understanding of Australian design standards and local authority requirements Competency in design documentation and technical reporting Personal Attributes Strong communication and teamwork skills Proactive, motivated, and eager to learn Ability to manage time effectively and contribute to multiple projects What’s on Offer Competitive salary package Strong pipeline of secured projects Flexible / hybrid working arrangements Supportive and experienced leadership team Exposure to high-quality, large-scale projects Clear career progression opportunities Apply Now If you are looking to take the next step in your civil engineering career within a global consultancy, we would love to hear from you.
