About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our growing R&D Tax and Government Incentives practice in Perth. Working closely with our newly appointed Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our local R&D capability while delivering high-quality outcomes for a diverse client base. This role offers a strong blend of hands-on technical delivery, client engagement, and people development, with clear pathways to progression as the practice continues to expand. You will be trusted to take ownership of client matters, contribute to business process planning, and support the mentoring of junior team members, while continuing to deepen your technical and consulting skillset. Key Responsibilities: Work with clients to identify and maximise opportunities for government grants and tax incentives based on their innovative technology activities Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide exceptional levels of client service Apply the law to identify and scope eligible R&D activities and expenditure for an organisation Act as a key contact for finance and technical personnel to collate information and build successful relationships Support the documentation of R&D activity in accordance with guidelines Contribute to the development of junior team members About You Demonstrated experience in R&D consulting, preferably in Big 4 or Mid-tier environment Strong communication and relationship management skills Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively within a team Comfortable working with technical concepts and translating them for different audiences Strong problem-solving abilities with an interest in innovation and a growth mindset.
