We are seeking an experienced and proactive Property Accountant to join a leading property group on a temporary basis. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the management of a high-quality retail property portfolio while working alongside a dynamic and collaborative team. Key Responsibilities: Day-to-day property accounting for assigned retail assets, including financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Completion of balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of variance analysis for management reports. Support the annual outgoings estimate and adjustment process, liaising with tenants as required. Assist with audits (statutory, outgoings, and trust) and ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant legislation. Coordinate financial aspects of property capital transactions, including due diligence support and post-settlement processes. Provide guidance and training to the property management team on finance-related matters. Identify process improvements and assist in streamlining month-end reporting and other financial processes. The Ideal Candidate: CA/CPA qualified or near-qualified with experience in property accounting. Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills. High system proficiency and ability to work with large datasets. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks. Positive, proactive, and inquisitive approach with a keen interest in property finance.
