The Position An opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join a highly regarded organisation based in Indooroopilly. This role will see you apply your strong end‑to‑end payroll expertise to ensure the accurate, compliant and timely delivery of payroll services across the business. This is an initial 3 month contract seeking an immediate start, with the high probability for extension / permanency. Key Responsibilities You will be a key contributor within the payroll function, responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Managing end‑to‑end fortnightly payroll processing Maintaining accurate employee records and payroll data Ensuring compliance with awards, legislation, and enterprise agreements Handling leave calculations, superannuation, PAYG, allowances and other statutory requirements Responding to payroll queries with professionalism and a solutions‑focused approach Collaborating closely with a supportive team and providing assistance across payroll activities as required. Skills & Experience Proven end‑to‑end payroll experience Experience with Aurion (highly regarded) Excellent attention to detail and strong time‑management skills Ability to work autonomously and exercise sound judgement Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels A positive, proactive and team‑oriented approach How to Apply Sharp & Carter often have a range of payroll positions available that may not yet be advertised.
