An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the team immediately on an initial one month assignment, with potential for extension. Position Description Reporting to the Finance Manager and working within a small team, you will be responsible for: Processing invoices on a daily basis accurately & efficiently Correct and maintain purchase orders in line with operational requirements Completing payment runs Statement reconciliations Manage accounts payable queries and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies Setting up new vendors and suppliers Perform general administrative tasks & ad hoc duties to support smooth operations Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Payable role, along with the following attributes: Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well collaboratively in a team environment Strong time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders Prior experience using SAP or Microsoft Dynamics is highly advantageous Additional Benefits Commence as soon as possible Office located close to home in Melbourne's Western suburb of Derrimut with onsite parking Supportive close knit team environment Attractive hourly rate dependent on experience ($38 - $40 per hour super) Temporary role for 1 month initially, with potential for extension Work for a leading national organisation during an exciting transformational period How to Apply To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
