Role Overview This is a Finance Business Partner role supporting a key manufacturing site, partnering closely with operations and quality functions. Reporting into senior finance leadership, the role is focused on delivering high-quality financial analysis, supporting planning processes, and providing insights that directly influence operational performance and decision-making. You will play a key role across budgeting, forecasting, product costing and performance analysis, while working closely with stakeholders on-site to drive understanding of financial outcomes and improve business performance. This role is well suited to someone who wants to step into a true business partnering environment, moving beyond reporting into a more commercial, operations-facing role. Key Responsibilities Partner with operations and quality teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making Support month-end, half-year and year-end processes, including variance analysis and performance commentary Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles, including cost centre and inventory planning Deliver financial analysis across site performance, including product costing and inventory movements Provide clear, actionable insights to stakeholders to support operational targets and outcomes Support product costing processes and annual costing cycles Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, systems and reporting Collaborate with supply chain and operations to improve data accuracy and financial visibility Support audit, compliance and regulatory reporting requirements Ideal Candidate You will bring experience from a commercial finance, FP&A or accounting background, ideally with exposure to manufacturing, supply chain or operational environments. You are analytically strong, commercially minded, and confident working with stakeholders to influence outcomes. You enjoy being close to the business, translating financial data into meaningful insights, and helping non-finance stakeholders understand performance. This role is ideal for someone looking to step into or deepen their experience in a true Finance Business Partner role, with strong exposure to operations and decision-making. Key Requirements 4–7 years’ experience in finance (FP&A, commercial finance or accounting) Well suited to first movers from Big 4/ Mid Tier environments CA/CPA qualified or working towards Exposure to budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis Experience or interest in manufacturing, supply chain or operations environments Strong analytical and problem-solving capability Ability to partner with and influence stakeholders Strong Excel skills
