The opportunity You will join a specialist investigations team within a large, national retail organisation with over 120,000 employees across Australia. This is a highly operational environment where workplace matters are varied, fast-moving and often complex. You will sit between advisory and senior specialist functions, taking ownership of workplace grievances and investigations end-to-end, while partnering closely with leaders across the business. Key responsibilities Lead and manage workplace grievances and investigations end-to-end, including conduct and interpersonal matters Manage ongoing ill and injured worker matters, including those with a WorkCover component Partner with leaders to navigate sensitive and often ambiguous situations Provide clear, practical advice grounded in risk and employment legislation Support Fair Work and external matters as required Coach leaders through difficult conversations and outcomes Navigate challenging complaint outcomes, balancing empathy with clear and practical decision-making Managing multiple concurrent investigations alongside ill and injured worker matters Handling a varied mix of grievances, including workload, rostering, underpayment and interpersonal conflict You will bring: Strong experience in Employee Relations or Workplace Relations Proven experience conducting workplace investigations end-to-end Ability to operate at pace, make confident decisions and back your judgement in a low bureaucracy environment Confidence working with ambiguity, emotion and competing perspectives Strong stakeholder capability, particularly partnering with operational leaders Experience in retail is highly regarded, but not essential Benefits Hybrid working model (2 days in office) Competitive salary package with bonus National exposure across multiple business units Supportive, high-performing team environment How to Apply To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
