This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a Certificate III in Carpentry with a well-established, family-owned business. Our Services Include Granny flats Home extensions Renovations New residential builds Commercial construction projects Real estate and property maintenance The Role As a Carpentry Apprentice, you will work alongside qualified carpenters and gain practical experience across a variety of construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Assisting qualified carpenters with general construction and carpentry tasks Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials under supervision Helping with framing, fixing, and finishing work Loading, unloading, and organising tools and materials on site Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment Following all workplace health and safety procedures About You We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about starting a career in carpentry and committed to learning the trade. Essential Attributes: Punctual and reliable, with the ability to arrive on site on time every day Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Positive attitude and team-focused mindset Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship Physically fit and capable of manual labour Desirable: Driver’s licence (preferred but not essential) Why Join Westwide Contracting?
