The Cyber Security Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets within the public sector. You will be supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks specifically pertaining to the Victorian Protective Data Security Standards (VPDSS). Description Monitor and analyse security alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Develop and implement security protocols, policies, and guidelines to safeguard information assets. Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating potential risks. Profile A successful Cyber Security Analyst should have: Experience with data protection frameworks and standards, ideally including the Victorian Protective Data Security Framework (VPDSF) or similar. Proven ability to interpret and apply complex policies and regulatory requirements Proven experience in monitoring and responding to security incidents.
