High Profile Resource Client We have an exciting opportunity for a new Senior Systems Engineer to provide Level 3 operational support, installation and configuration to our customer's systems, software and infrastructure within our Managed Services Business. What will I be doing? Managing and resolving customer incidents, problems and requests to required service level targets in a hands-on customer facing technical role Ensuring established Service Levels are maintained against pre-determined SLA’s Providing the escalation point for functional teams for technical resolution of all related incidents and/or tasks Work on infrastructure upgrades, implementations, outages & refresh programs Day to day management of the technical solutions to ensure that they continue to meet business requirements Managing and planning regular patch management, scheduled maintenance, verify backups and upgrades with the team Manage time in a manner to ensure all tasks are completed within specified time frames Accurately and consistently perform general administration and management of supported environments Maintaining a detailed understanding of appropriate products and services Coordinating and working with internal team resources and vendors as required Assisting other team members with any technical challenges, guiding them to resolution Operating within ITIL service management processes including incident, problem and change management This role is required to perform "on call" work and be part of the "on call" roster for Managed Services Engineering Team. What experience will I need? Proven success as a Senior Systems Engineer operating in complex environments Advanced knowledge and experience supporting, configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server (2016 – 2022) and VMware / VSphere Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, TCP/IP Experience in Azure Demonstrated experience in maintaining customer environment with various Cisco, HP, Dell Hardware Technologies Demonstrated experience with PKI, ADCS Cert Services Experience with technologies including Nutanix, CrowdStrike, Commvault.
