About the role As a Weighbridge Operator at the Blackwater Waste Facility, your primary responsibilities include: Operating the weighbridge system (Mandalay) to log waste transactions accurately Weighing incoming and outgoing waste vehicles and ensuring compliance with regulations Handling cash and processing EFT transactions Providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with waste disposal and recycling inquiries Ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting of waste transactions Maintaining site safety and ensuring compliance with environmental and operational procedures General onsite duties What we’re looking for Basic computer skills (mandatory) and experience using weighbridge systems (desirable) Forklift licence, desirable Loader tickets, desirable MR drivers licence, desirable Friendly personality with excellent customer service and communication skills A commitment to safety, teamwork, and following operational procedures Experience in waste management, transport, or logistics is desirable Why join us?
