As the Process Centre of Excellence grows and evolves at Optus, the team is looking for Process Redesign Specialists with expertise in networks and process optimisation. In the role of Process Redesign Specialist for Networks, you will work with the business on a 24 month fixed-term contract. Your focus will be to identify key improvement areas that enhance customer experience by transforming core processes. You will apply creative thinking, process enhancement, and problem-solving abilities to size, scope, and suggest improvements. You will dedicate time to understanding the needs of customers and colleagues, mapping and analysing current process performance, and crafting and delivering solutions that meet customer and employee needs. What You’ll Do | Your day to day will consist of Partner with Process Owners and other members of the Process Centre of Excellence to understand and analyse current state process performance. Work with business owners to build and implement future state process solutions. Recommend and size opportunities to uplift process performance and improve customer experience. Proactively identify areas of improvement and scope new projects. What You Bring | What makes you perfect for the role? Proven experience in process development, business improvement, or transformation. Strong skills in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Signavio, ARIS, Celonis, Lucidchart, BPMN). An interest in turning complex problems into simple, user-friendly solutions. Confidence working with stakeholders at all levels and inspiring change. Analytical approach with the ability to translate data into practical insights. Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile or similar improvement methodologies (certification highly desireable). Background in process, telecommunications, and networks. Hands-on experience, self-starter, and adaptable to fast-paced and complex environments with extensive stakeholder management.
