SkyCity is now looking for experienced Steward Shift Supervisor to join our Stewarding team! So, what does the role look like? As our Steward Shift Supervisor, you will support our F&B team by supervising the stewarding staff and overseeing the daily functions to maximise productivity whilst ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are in effect throughout the kitchens, cool rooms and equipment. You will train your colleagues in quality and service standards, ensuring they have the necessary tools and equipment to perform their role. You will also encourage and maintain excellent work standards, assist with the efficient set up of functions, maintain chemical standards, assist in the preparation of stocktakes and ensure the overall cleanliness of our kitchens is of a high standard. What you will look like? You will have previous supervisory experience in a stewarding role and possess strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene procedures and practices, Occupational Health & Safety procedures, chemical usage and storage and a working knowledge of HACCP standards. Coupled with excellent communication skills, you will be highly organised, have proficient computer skills and be a natural problem solver. You will also possess your Food Safety Certificate.
