Your responsibilities will include: As a Combat Systems Engineer , you will support the delivery of capability enhancements for the Hobart Class Destroyers. Working within the Naval Combat System Engineering team, you’ll contribute to the design, integration and sustainment of the Aegis Combat System (ACS). This role offers strong development opportunities, working alongside experienced engineers on complex Defence systems. In this role, you will: Support development and assessment of Engineering Change Proposals Contribute to integration and test activities across combat systems Assist with engineering investigations and defect analysis Support management of system interfaces, baselines and configuration changes Prepare and review technical documentation and artefacts Collaborate with Defence, industry and international stakeholders About you: You’re a capable Systems Engineer looking to build on your experience within a Defence or complex engineering environment. You enjoy solving technical problems, working in teams, and contributing to meaningful engineering outcomes. You bring : A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or related engineering. Experience across the systems engineering, integration or test Exposure to Defence or complete systems environments (naval desirable) Strong problem-solving skills and communication skills An Australian NV-1 security clearance and ability to access/handle Export Controlled technology, data and information.
